Scavenger Hunt Ideas in Winter

Winter is coming and the thought of having the kids inside all the time makes me cringe. It means lots of time on the computer, the x-box, play station, TV etc... I just don't like it because it does not inspire the imagination of our children. As my children love scavenger hunts I thought why not modify some of them and let them do it inside. Well, I know it can be a bit noisy but hey if they are having fun and I can drag them of those electronic devices a lot is gained. So, I suggest to you, let your kids come up with the ideas and let them put a inside scavenger hunt together. They will be busy for hours and god forbid enjoy it.

Scavenger Hunt Ideas

I have been looking for scavenger hunt ideas ever since I had
my first child and just recently I came across this one:

This is a traditional scavenger hunt where you get a list of
things to recover, that you have to bring back within a
certain time limit. Use common items for younger children like:
a ball, a coin, a leaf from a certain tree type etc. Now you
have to make up some rules, i.e. non of the items can be bought
or non of the contestants can go home and get any of the items.
You can be as creative as you want with this scavenger hunt.
